Liverpool have been granted their request to face either Everton or Sunderland in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday, April 14 Soccer Jerseys .
April 15 will be the 23rd anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster and Liverpool have not played a game on that date since.
The weekend of April 14 and 15 is when the FA Cup semi-finals take place and Reds boss Kenny Dalglish made the club's position clear following the win over Stoke.
Dalglish said: "We won't play on the 15th. The FA and UEFA have always been exemplary and very supportive, and that's great credit to them.
"I don't think it's even worth a line in a paper that we might play on the 15th because we won't.
"We've never played on the 15th before, have we? So there you are. Why would they change now?" www.wholesalewcsoccerjerseys.com
And it has been confirmed Liverpool will play on Saturday - with the second semi-final between Chelsea and Tottenham or Bolton taking place on Sunday.
This decision would appear to have required the support of the other clubs and UEFA, as Chelsea face a potential Champions League semi-final, first leg in the following week - provided they beat Benfica in the last eight.
Both games will take place at Wembley.
